Victoria 2 is a strategy game originally created by the developer The Creative Assembly and now owned by SEGA. It has now been converted to The Third Era, which was released on steam. This mod changes the map and updates it with newer graphics and better unit names that makes it much more enjoyable for new players. This mod features: - New map where Europe is divided into three countries: Britain, Russia and Germany; with France as a capitulated nation; Austria as an independent monarchy; Hungary as well as Italy also having their independence restored during this era. - Research pack adds many new technologies to research such as rocket engines, sonar, radar systems etc... - Several new factions including the Chinese unified nation. - New nations to play alongside existing nations such as Belgium, Ireland, Netherlands and Spain; which are akin to their real life counterparts, but offer different advantages with their own national agenda. - New game rules for both multiplayer and singleplayer. - New gameplay features such as the aircraft carrier which is used by both China and Britain; along with the spy plane which replaces cavalry; there are also ships that can be constructed in ports with no military value. - Many other changes in gameplay - see screenshots for details! It is an initiative of Fringe Production, bringing together the work of many modding teams under one umbrella. The T3 era has now released two installments, starting with the first in June 2018. The first installment focuses on technology during the First World War era. The second installment focuses on technology between WWI and WWII, including the interwar period.
